Confirmation Ministry

Confirmation classes are held during the school year for 7th and 8th grade students. Through these classes, the youth learn about their Christian faith from a Lutheran perspective in a fun and engaging atmosphere. These youth also participate in weekend confirmation retreats and a week of Confirmation camp during the summer at Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp.

Confirmation Mentor

As a part of their Confirmation instruction, the youth select an adult member of the congregation who will meet regularly with them and mentor them during the six weeks of Lent. Together the youth and the mentor will do a service project. They will also select a Saint (usually an elder member of the church) to interview to learn more about their Saint’s faith journey.

Senior High Youth Activities

• Sunday Morning Bible study
• Community service projects within the church and throughout our community
• Weekend retreats
• Annual Rocky Mountain Synod ELCA Youth Gathering in November
• ELCA National Youth Gathering (occurring once every three years)

Middle School Youth Activities

• Sunday Morning Bible study
• Rocky Mountain Synod ELCA Middle School Youth Gathering (MSYG) which is held annually in January in Colorado Springs,        CO
• Community service projects and other special activities throughout the year
• Hosting our annual Easter Breakfast
