About King of Kings
This is Christ’s church. There is a place for you here. We are the church that shares a living, daring confidence in God’s grace. Liberated by our faith, we embrace you as a whole person — questions, complexities and all. Join us as we do God’s work in Christ’s name for the life of the world.
In 2013 King of Kings celebrated 50 years in ministry in Pueblo. Since starting out as a new congregation, King of Kings has grown not only in membership, but in facility size, with the latest renovation completed in October of 2010. Located at the intersection of Pueblo Blvd and Vinewood on the south side of Pueblo, the church is just two miles from Interstate I-25 and minutes from all other areas of town.
We are grateful to be told repeatedly that we have a friendly, warm and welcoming congregation, not just to visitors and new members, but to all. Our members have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities and ministries, both within the church as well as in the community. Many of those opportunities are listed on other pages of this web site.

King of Kings is a member congregation of the Rocky Mountain Synod (RMS) of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA) http://www.rmselca.org/. The ELCA is a church that shares a living, daring confidence in God’s grace. As members of the ELCA, we believe that we are freed in Christ to serve and love our neighbor. With our hands, we do God’s work of restoring and reconciling communities in Jesus Christ’s name throughout the world.
We trace our roots back through the mid-17th century, when early Lutherans came to America from Europe, settling in the Virgin Islands and the area that is now known as New York. Even before that, Martin Luther sought reform for the church in the 16th century, laying the framework for our beliefs.
